Plane Crashes in Abuja killed passengers

 


The Nigerian Air Force said on Sunday that seven passengers on a Beechcraft KingAir B350i were killed when the plane crashed in Abuja on Sunday. 


It was confirmed in a statement by NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, that a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i crashed while returning to Abuja Airport after reporting an engine failure on the way to Minna.

The Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika also confirmed the crash on Sunday’s official Twitter: “A military aircraft King Air 350 reported an engine failure on the way to Minna, just from our Abuja runway crashed.This seems fatal.

Emergency personnel are at the scene. Sadly, all 7 people on board were killed in the crash.

 The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), @CAS_IOAmao, has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident. While urging the public to remain calm.
